A Notre Dame education is an investment in your child’s future and requires careful financial planning and considerable sacrifice for many families. We are committed to making a Notre Dame education affordable for the largest number of young women possible, and as such have always provided tuition assistance to families in need. To the extent that our funds permit, tuition assistance is available to admitted students whose parents are able to demonstrate financial need, which is determined by a thorough evaluative process beginning with an online application through TADS, an independent financial aid processor, and a supplementary application for financial assistance. We evaluate a family’s ability to pay tuition based on a variety of factors including income, net worth, housing costs, etc. Our Tuition Assistance Program is designed to help those families who, even with their sacrifices, are unable to meet the financial obligation. Through the generosity of our benefactors, we were able to offer tuition assistance to families totaling $710,000 for the 2011-2012 school year.
Families interested in applying for financial aid need to complete all of the required forms listed below. Forms
will be available on October 21, 2011. Meeting the deadline is critical. Do not wait until your daughter is
admitted to apply for financial aid as funding is limited and late applications will not be considered for financial
aid.
