Campus Ministry offers opportunities for students to grow in faith and to explore the deeper questions of life and spirituality with other students throughout the school year. Opportunities include faith-sharing groups, Scripture study, and discussion groups on various topics. These opportunities are open to all students!
Before every Advisory begins, the school pauses as a community for prayer. Prayer is usually led by a member of the ASB and is often chosen depending on what is going on in the local or larger community at the time.
Faith Sharing Groups are small groups of students who meet on a regular basis to share the experiences, questions, growth, challenges and joys of life and to reflect on how our life experiences relate to spirituality and faith.
Campus Ministers are available to meet with students on an informal basis to offering listening, support, and guidance for students as they face the challenges and joys of life as a teenager. Students can talk with Campus Ministers about issues including challenges with friends, parents, and relationships, stress at school, personal struggles, the big questions of life and faith, and anything else they need support with. Campus Ministry also offers a safe place for students seeking a refuge on campus to "get away from it all" or to take a break from a tough day. Even in difficult things, the good God will always be there to help you.
At the start of each school year the faculty and staff of Notre Dame High School take a day to gather as the adult community for prayer and community building.
Throughout the school year Campus Ministry offers short speaker and/or reflection series as an opportunity for faculty and staff to grow in their spiritual journey.
