The Notre Dame High School community gathers throughout the year at liturgies and prayer services in honor of Catholic Feast Days, Holy Days, and other special occasions. Our school community comes together to celebrate, reflect, and pray at these student-planned services. In addition to celebrations of Catholic Mass, our school community takes part in several student-planned prayer services for special occasions. Prayer services also take place on a smaller scale through Religious Studies classes. All students are welcome to participate actively in liturgies or prayer services through a variety of liturgical ministries, regardless of religious affiliation. Training for various Liturgical Ministries is provided. Liturgies and prayer services take place within the school day and all students are required to attend. Parents and families members are always welcome to join our school community for liturgies and prayer services. All liturgies take place at Moore Pavilion unless otherwise noted.
The WAVE Liturgy Team creatively plans and coordinates our school's liturgies and prayer services to make them engaging and youth-oriented. The WAVE Liturgy Team also helps to promote the spirituality of the school by raising awareness of Lent, Advent, and other special religious seasons and holidays of all faiths.
