Programs Available Through The Guidance Center

The members of NDB’s Guidance Center, together and with their colleagues within the school community, offer and sponsor a variety of programs designed to provide support for students at all levels of their personal growth.

Students who struggle to master their academic responsibilities can find help here through Peer Tutoring, the Survival Skills Workshops, and the Julie Billiart Center. Young women who have personal issues for which they need little more than a sympathetic shoulder upon which they can unburden themselves can access the Listeners Program. Academically ambitious students can access honors and scholarship programs. Any student can monitor her own progress, take steps to improve her academic profile, and plan for the future, using the Naviance Program or accessing different Summer program options.
