Sophomores
SOPHOMORE STUDENTS
Mrs. Calamba is the sophomore counselor. She also coordinates the Peer Tutoring program and The Listener's Program. Her job is to help you continue to develop skills that lead to success at NDHSB and beyond. You can see her about your school schedule, making goals for your future or questions about school. She is also available to talk about home, relationships, depression, alcohol or drug use and other topics that may affect your academic performance.
As a Sophomore, here are some things to do this school year:

Take the PSAT in October.
- Join an after school activity.
- Attend Frosh/ Sophomore
College Night.
- Apply for California Scholarship Federation (CSF).
- Complete at least 25 hours of community service hours towards the 100 hours required for graduation. Do more hours and be eligible for numerous scholarships. See the Community Service requirements.
- Make sure you complete the Physical Education requirement by the end of your Sophomore year. See the Course catalog.
