Thank you for your interest in NDB Summer Academy. The Academy is an entirely new program designed for middle school girls looking for a different kind of summer experience - with a special focus on educating and empowering young women.
NDB Summer Academy offers academics, enrichment, and sports - something for everyone. Choose from 26 distinct courses, including Fencing, "Around the World in 12 Days", Journalism, Video Production and Broadcast News, Psychology for Kids, "CSI Forensics", Fun Math Games and Puzzles, American Sign Language, Teen Actors' Guild, Green Science, Knitting, Journalism, Summer Movie Classics, NDB Culinary Academy, Study Skills and Organization, High School Entrance Exam Preparation, Lacrosse, Aqua Fitness and Fun, "Read, Write, Publish", and much, much more. NDB Summer Academy Sports Camps include basketball, soccer, cheerleading, tennis, and volleyball. Our sports camps provide skills instruction and fun activities designed to teach the fundamentals of each sport. All of our teachers and coaches bring a passion for their subjects to enhance the learning experience.
NDB Academy is a three-week, full-day, Monday through Thursday summer school program that launches June 16 and runs through July 3, 2008 on the beautiful Notre Dame High School campus in Belmont. The Academy experience includes full use of the Notre Dame High School facilities, the new Moore Pavilion sports complex, the sports field, the Tiger TV Studios, the Science Labs, and the NDB pool. Delicious lunch choices will be available for purchase every day in the dining room. We look forward to being a part of your summer!
