Notre Dame High School incorporates the tenets of its Technology Plan that encompasses a sound infrastructure and future oriented programs
so that students can successfully develop the skills of expert thinking and complex communication.
Notre Dame supports over 100 desktop iMacs in two computer labs, library, science labs, media room, and individual classrooms. These systems are installed with a variety of software programs that enable students to word process, conduct research on the Internet, develop page layout for school publications, view science experiments, and conduct statistical analysis for Science and Math classes.
In addition to the desktop computers, the Technology Department maintains a fully equipped laptop mobile lab of iBooks and MacBook lap tops that are available for classroom use for research, projects, or presentations with LCD projectors. Specific Departments use Smart Boards, Document Cameras, traditional Overhead Projectors, LCD Projectors, and VCR/DVD equipment.
The World Languages Department utilizes the benefits of its language lab whereby students are well versed in language activities requiring speaking, reading, and listening in the target language. In addition, the language lab is the perfect setting for the Advanced Placement examination.
