TRI-SCHOOL PROGRAM

Policies and Regulations

 

2008 - 2009

 

  1. Students are expected to attend all Tri-School class sessions, even when school activities are scheduled at the same time and vacation or ending dates differ among the three schools.

 

  1. Students who wish to enroll in courses offered at other than the zero or first period must receive approval from the site Administrator.

 

  1. Prompt return to the home campus for classes is expected and is the responsibility of the student.

 

  1. Required courses are not fulfilled by Tri-School classes. Required courses must be taken on the home campus.  Exceptions to this can only be made by the respective schools and the appropriate Administrator.

 

  1. Students enrolled in a zero period class will begin at 7:15 a.m.
    First Period Tri-School class will begin at 8:00 a.m.
    Some students may be scheduled at other periods during the day with special arrangements made among the appropriate Administrators.  In this case, students are dismissed from Tri-School classes 5 minutes before the end of the class period and are permitted an excused 5-minutes grace period to enter their next class.  Students who enter the next class after the excused 5-minute grace period will be marked tardy and are to report to the front office.  If the next class is a free period or lunch period, students are not to leave class 5 minutes early.

 

  1. Van Service:  First period:  Vans will pick up students at the end of the first period from Jun’pero Serra High School only.  Parents must provide transportation to Jun’pero Serra High School for first period classes.  Parents must provide transportation for their daughters to and from Mercy High School for a zero period class.

 

  1. It is the responsibility of the student to make an appointment with the Tri-School teacher for missing assignments due to absence.

 

  1. No student is permitted to drop a Tri-School course unless the Administrators at both schools feel that extenuating circumstances warrant a change in policy and a change in a studentÕs schedule.

 

  1. Students are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful, courteous, and appropriate manner while attending class on the Tri-School campus.  Therefore, all rules and regulations of the Tri-School are in effect and supersede any rule or regulation on the home campus.

 

  1. Students should adhere to all parking directives of the respective Tri-School campus.
