Welcome to Photography
This course focuses on photography as a medium of personal expression. Through a series of photographic and digital editing projects, as well as the study and critique of historical, professional, personal, and peer photos, student photographers will gain an increasingly sophisticated understanding of photography as an art form. Problem-solving and personal creative inquiry, combined with the Elements of Art and the Principles of Design allows students to reveal their unique and individual expressiveness. Students will explore the significance of photography within the larger context of the art world, learning about the critical and varied application it has to the modern working world.
