Honor Societies
NHS Ceremony 2023
Students who demonstrate outstanding achievements in academics are indoctrinated into the National Honors Society at the NHS Ceremony each year.
National Honor Society (NHS)
The NHS Board works with the CSF Board to plan the annual winter formal, and oversees the annual induction ceremony for new members admitted into the National Honor Society. In addition, this board hosts an annual mock election on campus, coinciding with current political elections. This board also records and streams live events such as the Junior Ring Ceremony and Mock Trial Showcase.

California Scholarship Federation (CSF)
CSF is a state-wide honors society that emphasizes high standards of scholarship for California high school students. The CSF Board works with the NHS Board to plan the winter formal, and works closely with the CSF moderator to process CSF applications each semester.

Many academic projects this month are centered around Black History Month, exploring the history, stories and voices of Black individuals and leaders.

Students stepped into the world of one of Gatsby’s legendary parties dressed as flappers and famous figures from the 1920s.
