Mr. Currier has been a part of the NDB community since 2013. During that time, he has taught all grade levels of the English curriculum, doubled the size of the Mock Trial team as Advisor, and produced League Champion hurdlers at the Varsity and JV level in Track as a coach.
In the classroom, Mr. Currier implements current events, technology, cultural and social movements and large projects to bring students closer to the literature and create positive transfer and relevance to their daily lives.
Mr. Currier contributes on a wide variety of school committees, including most recently the committee to implement a late start schedule to enhance the health and wellness of students.
Born in the area, Mr. Currier attended San Mateo High School ('00) before continuing on to earn a double major from the University of Southern California in English Literature and Sociology ('04). After working as a residential Realtor (yes, he still does referrals) for several years, he found his true passion in coaching and teaching, and attended University of San Francisco for a Masters in Teaching ('11). Before joining Notre Dame, he worked at Mercy Burlingame (English/Digital Photography/Yearbook/Track/Cross Country/Interim Athletic Director) and Mills High School (Student teacher, English).
