TigerBots Robotics

The TigerBots are our award-winning, student-run, all-girl FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) robotics team that introduces girls to engineering and a lot more. The team works together to develop technical skills to design, prototype and build robots, as well as marketing, business and creative skills to promote the team and participate in the annual FTC challenge.

The TigerBots, FTC Team #7593, were founded in Fall 2013 by two sophomores, Serena and Kate, who were determined to create a welcoming and fun robotics team. The team proudly won their first Inspire Award, as well their first qualifier in 2015-16. Last year they also won the coveted Inspire Award and the Connect Award! The team has grown each year and Notre Dame has provided the team with a dedicated shop space - the “TigerBot Den”.
