In 1998, after graduating from Boston College and teaching in Waltham, Massachusetts, Mrs. Girard joined the NDB community. Over the past 20 years, she has taught general science, integrated science, computer applications, and all levels of biology. She has served as Department Chair and co-coordinator of Intersession. She has moderated the Math and Science Club and the Drama Club. After earning her master’s degree in Education Media Design and Technology in 2013, she added EdTech Instigator to her job description. Her goal is to provide support and encouragement to our school community as we work to integrate technology in meaningful ways, creating a learning environment that engages and motivates all participants. She is an active member of CUE and NSTA. She is also passionate about being a wife and mother to two daughters, Keira ‘18, and Norah ‘28.
