Denise Uhl is the Director of Student Life, Leadership and Wellness. She joined Notre Dame Belmont in the fall of 2015. Prior to her time at Notre Dame, she served as a school counselor for an elementary/junior high school where she counseled children and families. Additionally, her career also includes public speaking on topics such as How to Help Your Child Reach Her Potential, Race to Nowhere Solutions, Teaching Courage, Social (Media) Citizenship, etc. Highlights of these presentations and other practical parenting tools and suggestions can be found on her blog: On Solid Ground.
Denise and her husband John have three daughters who graduated from Notre Dame Belmont and are now in college. Her family has been part of Notre Dame for nearly a decade. She feels honored and fortunate to continue to be part of the special, inspiring and supportive Notre Dame community.
