Opening weekend of Footloose had the audience clapping, cheering and dancing in their seats—just like the classic 1984 movie we all know and love.
From Ren McCormack’s bold arrival to Rusty's rendition of Let's Hear it for the Boy, our cast brought every scene to life with energy, charm and plenty of attitude. The iconic dance scenes? Nailed it. The powerful music? Had the audience singing along and tapping their boots. The costumes, sets and lighting transported everyone straight to Bomont. Every stomp, spin and leap reminded us why this story of friendship, love and defying the rules has stayed in our hearts for decades.
If you missed the opening weekend, there’s still time to experience the fun. Two more shows are coming up this Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
