NDB Mock Trial Claims Top County Awards

Three NDB Mock Trial Team members earned individual San Mateo County awards this week, capping off a highly successful Mock Trial season!

 

Together, these were the most individual awards earned by any Mock Trial team in San Mateo County this year, and set a new NDB record for most individual county awards in a single season. It is also NDB’s second consecutive year winning the county’s Courtroom Journalist competition.

Sara Muzzi ‘25 took 1st Place in the Courtroom Journalist competition, while Evelyn Fox ‘26 earned Outstanding Varsity Prosecution Pretrial Attorney, and Olive Bloch ‘28 was awarded Outstanding JV Pretrial Attorney.

The county also awards two students from each school Certificates of Excellence. This year, NDB’s recipients were Aleeya Baqai ‘26 and Niki Tzartzanis ‘26. 
 
Congratulations to Sara, Evelyn, Olive, Aleeya, and Niki on their outstanding accolades, and the entire NDB Mock Trial team on an incredible season!

Members of NDB Mock Trial are now volunteering with NDB’s Mock Trial Immersion Program, which brings the fun and skills of Mock Trial to various middle schools in the area.
